Pigs Tomorrow took place on Tuesday 14th & Wednesday 15th May at the Jurys Inn Hinckley Island, Leicestershire
Pigs Tomorrow was a big success, with more than 250 delegates, a stellar line-up of international speakers, networking opportunities, a dinner and an after-dinner speaker.
Organised by Pig World and the AHDB, Pigs Tomorrow was split into two days. Day one was the international conference, with speakers coming from as far afield as Canada and Russia to present at the event in Leicestershire.
After a busy day in the conference, delegates attended a drinks reception, followed by a superb gala dinner. Monty Halls, a former Royal Marine officer and trained marine biologist, broadcaster and explorer, was the guest speaker at the gala dinner.
Day two was the innovation conference, which combined discussion on big on-farm issues, such as tail biting, with a detailed look at some of the technological advances taking place within the sector.
Throughout Pigs Tomorrow, delegates had plenty of opportunities to network, and there was also an exhibition of industry stands, which were visited during the coffee and lunch breaks.
Pigs Tomorrow will take place again in 2021, further details will be announced later this year.
